Okay The Wolves Are Being EXTRA This Week And I Cannot 😩🐺

Bestie, I am UNWELL. I just finished reading this week's threat bulletin and I genuinely had to put my laptop down and go touch grass for five minutes. The audacity. The AUDACITY of these coyotes right now.

Let me set the scene. 🎬

So apparently the wolves out here are now pairing Kali Linux with AI tools like Claude to cook up their little schemes faster. No cap, they are literally using the same vibes we use to be productive, except for chaos and destruction. That is so unbelievably cringe I cannot even articulate it. Using AI to herd the flock into fake grain traps faster? Slay for efficiency I guess, but make it EVIL. 🐑💀

And then. AND THEN. Chrome crash traps are a thing now. The lambs are just sitting there, clicking around, living their best lives, and boom. A browser crash becomes a whole infestation situation. Ticks and fleas absolutely partying inside your endpoints while you thought you were just watching a YouTube video. Embarrassing for everyone involved honestly.

WinRAR has holes in the fence. Again. I know, I KNOW. We have been talking about WinRAR holes in the fence since before I was born basically. At this point WinRAR is just a fence made of suggestions. The Shepherds who still have this unsheared, undipped, completely unpatched software running in production need to log off and reflect on their choices. 🧖‍♀️

Oh and LockBit is still out here doing LockBit things. Ransomware drama in the Sky Pasture adjacent zones, the flock panicking, the Shepherds holding emergency meetings that solve nothing. Classic. Chaotic. Zero stars.

The vibe this week is genuinely: everything is on fire and the Electric Fence needs serious attention. We are talking 15+ separate threat storylines and honestly my cortisol cannot. ☁️🔥

Remediation (Grace's Glow-Up Checklist ✨)

Okay here is what we are actually doing about this, no cap:

Shear your software. WinRAR, Chrome, everything. If it has not been patched recently it is basically a hole in the fence with a welcome mat. Do it now. Right now. I will wait.

Reconsider who has AI access and why. If the wolves are using it against us we need to be smarter about how we gate these tools internally. Bet.

Run phishing awareness for the flock. The fake grain traps are getting more sophisticated with AI assist. The lambs need a refresher before they click something catastrophic.

Check your Electric Fence configurations. Especially anything Sky Pasture-adjacent. LockBit loves a misconfigured perimeter.

Stay safe out there and remember: the cringe is always coming from inside the network 🐑💅
